Eldoret links with Hockey
A young budding 16 year old Hockey star from Wolverhampton playing for Cannock Under 16's & Staffordshire have come 4th in the England Nationals Under 16 Finals in the UK. Gurpal Singh Mann grandson of Sati Mann (from Eldoret), has been playing since the age of 8yrs along with his father. Gurpal who is now under the wings of some of the England squad is specializing as a drag flicker has won 4 major tornaments. There are many other youngsters playing Hockey who's roots are also from Eldoret. Tanveer Singh Bansal grandson of Late Mr Malkit Singh Bansal is also another rising star, Sanjiv Shukla granson of Mr Shukla (Eldoret Taning) are also playing for the Black Country . Eldoret Association is very proud for the youngsters that are also members of the Eldoret Association Committee & wish them luck & pray that they are successful at their quest. Make Eldoret proud.
